I absolutely love this time of year. The chill in the air, the snow that falls lightly dusting everything with a soft blanket of white. Christmas is right around the corner so the little ones are always super excited. In my home, the house smells like pine and apple cinnamon.

2 lbs. stew meat                                          2 beef bouillon cubes

1 bell pepper, chopped                              2 Tbs. cornstarch

1 med. onion chopped                               1 Tbs. soy sauce

2 carrots, chopped                                      garlic powder, salt & pepper to taste

1 can stewed tomatoes

In a 2 cup measuring cup, place the bouillon cubes in 2 cups boiling water and set aside.

Place uncooked meat in crock pot and set on low, add in peppers, onions and carrots. Add in your undrained can of stewed tomatoes (juice and all).  Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Add in your soy sauce

The boullion should be dissolved by now, at this time you add the cornstarch and mix well with a fork. It should be thick, if not add a little more cornstarch until it is the consistancy of a gravy. Pour that over beef and veggies in the pot. stir it up, cover it and forget it until supper. Usually 6-8 hours on Low, 3-5 on high.

Hope your family enjoys this dinner as much as mine does.
